Overview

The primary function for this position is to drive strategies and tactics aimed at delivering revenue and margin objectives, while promoting sustainable, profitable growth. The position partners with brand management and cross-functionally to impart the profitable management of wholesale trade partners.

The overall responsibilities will be to develop, support and drive revenue (sell-in) of Molton Brown with Wholesale trade partners, such as Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, Amazon, Barneys, Bluemercury and Lord & Taylor, among others.

Responsibilities

* Build both Short and Long Term Strategies for Wholesale Accounts in partnership with all Internal Teams, including Marketing, Finance & Sales Business Development.
* Responsible to drive revenue (sell-in) sales and profit targets to budget.
* Increase overall net sales for Molton Brown, through negotiations with buyer on sales, product and merchandising placement.
* Build exceptionally strong relationships with all Wholesale Accounts Functional Teams through a consistent touch base and meetings.
* Monthly account visits, report on merchandising presentation, inventory levels, and track sales performance by door.
* Liaise with marketing to develop account specific marketing and promotional programs for Wholesale Accounts. Develop side by side promotional seasonal plans for trade partners.
* Communicate and support to the field sell-thru sales team in executing sales and marketing programs for key national accounts.
* Help provide stock and sales support to the sell-thru field team in execution of promotional events for headquarter account.
* Liaise with marketing and forecasting on new product availability to communicate to account merchants and financial planning teams.

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
* Travel 25-35%.
* Minimum 5 years' experience in key account management/wholesale sales.
* Must have beauty and luxury experience.
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
* Excellent presentation and listening skills for account meetings.
* Experience managing and leading sales teams, strong people skills.
* Demonstrated strategic thinking abilities.
* Fast learner and can adapt to many different situations.
* Ability to multi-task, thinks outside the box, and has a keen eye for detail.
* Focused organizational skills.
* Excellent Computer Skills, including Microsoft Excel & Power-Point.
* Ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to deliver business targets.
* Intellectually curious.
