Role Summary:The commercial expert and region leader for Interventional Radiology & Cardiology products in an assigned territory, Upstate New York.

Essential Responsibilities:ACCOUNT OWNERSHIP

Develop relationships with key clients - IR, Cath, OR Physicians/Lab Directors/C-Suite/Biomedical Engineering/etc. - in every account in the assigned territory

Lead strategy for account development and market share growth in each clinical segment

Lead strategy for managing current GE Install Base - replacement with GE for aging IB, and plan for customer satisfaction of non-aged IB.

Prospect for new business in territory through territory plan, IB analysis and activate marketing programs

Responsible for owning physician coverage strategy and developing strategic relationships.

TERRITORY MANAGEMENT

Create & manage a business and territory plan including: funnel growth strategy, competitive break in strategy, development of key physicians as advocates, and replacement of aging install base targets

Leverage data analytics to gain insights and set an actionable plan for - targeted funnel growth, imbalance of product installs, etc.

Demonstrate effective territory management skills including account prioritization, time management, etc. to cover all accounts effectively both in and out of buying cycles.

ACCOUNT COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP

Lead ongoing training and support for Account Community team, building their expertise to increase visibility and funnel growth.

Build customized and targeted plans for each Imaging Account Manager with actions to track and metrics for success.

Collaborate proactively with the GE account community (Imaging Generalists, Account Executives, Field Engineers, Project Managers, etc.) to increase early visibility to opportunities and provide a broader solution for the client

Network and effectively leverage relationships with key reps both inside GE and outside GE in relevant clinical spaces with shared call-points.

SALES EXPERTISE

Own Interventional opportunities through the full sales cycle - prospecting, qualifying, building strategy, delivering value proposition, presentations, pricing strategy, all meetings & follow up, installation, post-sale satisfaction, etc.

Expert clinical & technical presenter

Expert in differentiating GE's product offerings by conveying compelling value propositions customized to the client needs in a complex clinical & technical sale

Utilize creative methods for memorable product marketing including digital tools (iPad apps, 3D room renderings, etc.)

Lead local effort to support trade shows & scientific meetings

Qualifications/Requirements:Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years selling experience OR an associate degree with a minimum of 5 years selling experience OR a high school diploma with a minimum of 10 years selling experience

Previous experience and proven success in medical device and/or capital equipment sales

Ability to synthesize complex issues and communicate in simple messages

Excellent negotiation & closing skills

Strong presentation and relationship building skills

Excellent computer and analytical skills

Ability to energize, develop and build rapport at all levels within an organization and work well within a team

Must be willing to be located in assigned region

Valid motor vehicle license

You must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction
