This position is an exciting opportunity to join the fast-paced and dynamic environment of the Customer Growth Marketing team at American Express. Customer Growth Marketing is part of the US Consumer Marketing team responsible for deepening relationships with our members and driving revenue by delivering compelling, innovative marketing and moments..

This role presents an exceptional opportunity to shape marketing strategies that directly touch our customers and to deliver innovative and differentiated offerings. This Analyst/Sr. Analyst will manage delivery of value-added customer marketing designed to expand our leadership in consumer lending solutions. This role will primarily focus on supporting offer strategy along with developing, executing, and maintaining a variety of marketing campaigns in the inbound servicing channel including promotional pricing, line increase, and borrowing features. S/he will also support high impact initiatives across the channel, such as rollout of a test & learn curriculum.

S/he will partner closely with colleagues in Global Services Group (GSG), Product Management, GCO/Legal, Compliance, Enterprise Data & Analytics, and Global Marketing Operations.

The ideal candidate will possess a commitment to flawless execution, strong analytical skills, and a passion for customer marketing.

Responsibilities

* Lead execution of telemarketing strategy designed to drive lend growth across our Card portfolios


* Partner with the Marketing Enablement team to develop a schedule of offer launches and updates, and to ensure flawless execution


* Monitor performance of marketing campaigns through a combination of call-monitoring and analytics


* Deliver timely and insightful reporting and analysis of campaigns and overall channel results, along with recommendations to improve performance


* Collaborate with stakeholders across customer marketing and the broader organization to share best practices and identify new opportunities for the channel


* Manage relationships with key partners including Business Rules, ValGen Strategy & Operations, Enterprise Data & Analytics, Finance, Customer Marketing Capabilities, and Product Marketing



Qualifications

* Excellent program management and organizational skills, including juggling multiple priorities, superb attention to detail, meeting tight timelines, and operating effectively under changing conditions


* Robust analytical skills, with a knack for identifying relevant insights


* Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively in order to get things done, juggle priorities, and manage deadlines


* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence cross functional stakeholders and drive projects forward


* Proficient in MS Excel


* Minimum 2-3 years of experience

* BA/BS required
